REDD regulations

REDD refers to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions due to deforestation and forest degradation, the conservation and increase of carbon stocks and sustainable forest management.


REDD is a mechanism that was born within the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), whose general objective is to help reduce carbon dioxide emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation.
